"Our" favorite fall football....

Our favorite football is NOT the Pittsburgh Steelers...(at least it's not mine)....it's my son's flag football team!  Ronnie plays for the Upwards league...a christian sports organization thru our church and we love it!  So...twice a week all fall we are talking and playing football....

One of the many things I love about the Upwards league is that it pretty much is non-competitive...the boys learn the game, play and love the game...the male fellowship...and the scripture memory and character qualities to help them not only to be "team players" but good leaders as well.

This year, my husband, Ron, is assistant coaching and it is wonderful!  Ronnie loves having his dad involved at this level, Ron is enjoying it and the kids love "Coach Ron"!  It's great for all of my girls and I to watch and cheer on "our guys" on crisp, autumn Saturday mornings!  Here are some of my favorite fall football memories of 2012....

And...our new nephew!!!

Our new great nephew!  Mason Nolan West was born on 9/11/12 (4 weeks early!)  and STILL 7lb 8oz!  What an absolute precious cutie he is...I wish I could kiss those cheeks!

My very special niece, Amanda, holding Mason minutes after he was born...she's waited a long time for him and we praise God, that after a very high-risk pregnancy that both Mason is healthy and Amanda is healthy!

And...after a few days in the NICU...Mason came home today...wrapped in lots of love and prayers!

Our New Niece!

Sloan...born 9-3-12  8lb 1 oz  20 3/4 inches long

She is such a precious little one...Anna was so excited to hold her new cousin!

It was so nice to welcome Sloan to our family....we're so very happy for Tommy and Kelli...Sloan even has the Gorecki dimple in her right cheek...as her Pap said "It's where the angels kissed her cheek"!

Special summer vacation ...Lake Chautauqua, New York
